bio (english):

Kazu started his Dj career in 1987 playing at clubs in Tokyo,Japan. His passion for the music convinced him to become a professional dj at the early age of 19, he met Dj Baby Tokio when he was 20, they started underground music parties all over Tokyo and set up Voice Production in 89' tokyo. the concept was a multimedia mix control ( Dj event/visuals/fashion ) it was movement for the Dj/club culuture in Tokyo. He went to United Stats in 1990 played club Medusa in Chicago and Trax in Washinton dc. after returned from states he started produce own material at studio. ' Tokyo Explosion ' is the name of a Tokyo's top Dj's compilation Cd, he released vol1 / vol2 from Crown Record Japan with other dj's like Dj Honda, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Dj Heyta. Kazu moved to Brisbane Australia in 93' started spinning at many clubs and rave parties , whiles still travelling between brisbane and tokyo. He has also played at the famous super club "Liquid Room" tokyo, twice in 95' as a special guest. One of Holland's best underground Techno / House Label " Touche " approached him to release his own material. to date 'Sound Media' 4 Tracks EP through Touche's sub label Jam 95' with gigs in Sydney / Melbourne almost every month , Mushroom Distribution service Australia approached him for Dj Excursions series cd vol 3 with Melbourne's finest dj Will E Tell , it was a Revolutionary cd for the australian techno scene.over the past 6 years he has played with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Luke Slater, Carl Craig, Dave Angel, Josh Wink, Carl Cox, Space Djz, Ben Sims, Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, the Advent, Chris Liebing, Dj rush, Damon Wild, Steve Stoll, Steve Bicknell, Derrick Carter, Dj misjah & Dj Tim to name a few. played in Hongkong for a gig (E-Love) in middle of August. and with twice yearly trips to Europe, he plays in Germany such clublikeU-60311 (Frankfurt),Palazzo (Bingen), Stammheim (Kassel),Warehouse (Colonge), Basement (Wiesbaden), Signalwerk (Mainz),Etec and Div (Eisfield), Time Club (Amsterdam), Nighttown (Rotterdam), and the super techno club " Ambasada Gavioli " Isola (Slovenia), and to express himself more freely he has once again returned to studio work.. bio (deutsch):

Seit 1993 lebt der Vater eines Sohnes an der Ostküste Australiens und baut dort die Techno-Szene auf. Er startete seine DJ-Karriere 1987 in einem kleinen Underground Club in Tokyo, eröffnete dann eigene Club-Nächte, tourte 1990 durch die USA und ließ sich schließlich in Brisbane nieder. Der Japaner ist außerdem Mitveranstalter der furiosen "Acidisco" Partyreihe, die in wechselnden Locations unter dem Motto "Mad Funky Acid House Breakbeats Techno" lokale Talende fördert, und er organisiert "Freek Funk And Techno" Parties. Style: funky-groov'in Techno. Kazu hat auf der ganzen Welt mit allen grossen DJs (jeff mills, richie hawtin, dj shufflemaster, thomas chrome, dj rush, pascal feos, steve stoll, luke slater, chris liebing, frank lorber,.......) aufgelegt.
